(KUPIANSK, KHARKIV REGION, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) from the 8th Regiment conducted successful operations in the central area of Kupiansk.
During reconnaissance, the team identified a group of russian servicemen occupying a destroyed supermarket and an adjacent building. Two enemy soldiers were killed and two captured.
The SOF action supported neighbouring units in liberating the city centre. Reconnaissance and urban combat operations require high professional skill, which the SOF maintain through continuous close quarters battle training.
