Border Guards Machine Gun Down Two Attack Drones Over Kyiv Region

(KYIV OBLAST) – Ukrainian border guards shot down two enemy attack drones during airspace monitoring in the Kyiv region, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Servicemen from the 9th Border Detachment named after the Sich Riflemen detected the approach of hostile targets while monitoring the airspace. After rapidly assessing the situation, they opened fire using standard-issue weapons.

As a result of coordinated action, two attack unmanned aerial vehicles were successfully destroyed in separate incidents.

The drones posed a threat to civilian sites and critical infrastructure in the region. Timely intervention prevented potential damage.

Personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine  monitor the situation around the clock and carry out tasks to protect the state border and ensure public safety.
