Russian Infantry Targeted in Drone Operations in Kharkiv

(KHARKIV REGION) – Ukrainian border guards said drone pilots from the “Phoenix” unit of the Pomsta Brigade targeted Russian infantry during combat operations on the South Slobozhanskyi axis.

The State Border Guard Service said the unit continues to carry out strikes against Russian forces that have entered Ukrainian territory.

According to the statement, during one engagement a Russian soldier attempted to fire at an approaching FPV drone, but the UAV operator struck first and eliminated the target.

In another incident, a Russian serviceman attempted to take his own life after being targeted, but was killed in a subsequent drone strike, the statement said.

Border guard drone crews also reported further strikes on Russian personnel during routine sorties, with targets engaged and neutralised.

The Border Guard Service said operations by the Phoenix unit are ongoing, targeting Russian troops across the sector.
