(NORTHERN SLOBOZHANSKYI DIRECTION, UKRAINE) – Border guard units from the “Destruction Team” Rapid Response Commandant’s Unit of the 5th Border Guard Detachment have carried out targeted operations against Russian communications and logistics infrastructure in the northern Slobozhanskyi sector.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said its personnel continue to conduct combat missions as part of the wider Defence Forces, maintaining pressure on Russian positions while securing the national border.
In the latest operation, border guards detected and destroyed communications systems and remote control antennas used for unmanned aerial vehicles. The strikes were aimed at disrupting Russian coordination and limiting their aerial reconnaissance capabilities.
The unit also targeted electronic warfare and electronic intelligence systems, along with shelters used by Russian personnel in the area.
In addition, a small crossing point used by Russian forces to concentrate troops ahead of assaults was struck, further hindering their ability to organise offensive actions.
Ukrainian officials said the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to degrade Russian command, control, and logistics networks along the front line.
