Border Guards Take Russian Prisoners in Kharkiv Oblast

(VOVCHANSK, KHARKIV OBLAST) – Ukrainian border guards from the “Forpost” brigade successfully captured three Russian occupiers in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, near the city of Vovchansk.

According to a statement from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the incident occurred while Ukrainian military personnel were operating at their positions. The guards detected enemy movement and carried out successful actions, which ultimately forced the occupiers to surrender. The prisoners have since been handed over to the relevant services for processing.

The “Forpost” brigade noted that Russian servicemen are increasingly opting for captivity rather than continuing the fight. This trend signals a growing realisation among the occupiers of the hopelessness of their situation on the battlefield.
