Ukrainian Intelligence Unit Disables Russian Assets in Kursk
(KURSK REGION, RUSSIA) – Operators from the Askold reconnaissance unit of the Steel Border brigade have successfully targeted Russian military equipment and positions. During recent aerial reconnaissance operations in the Kursk direction, the unit utilised unmanned aerial vehicles to identify and neutralise several enemy assets.
The strikes resulted in the destruction of a Russian military buggy and a mortar system. Furthermore, the Askold unit disabled two communication antennas and destroyed five enemy shelters.
Reports confirm that two personnel belonging to the forces of the Russian dictator were also killed during these engagements. While specific financial valuations for all equipment were not disclosed, a standard Russian 120mm mortar system is valued at approximately 2.2 million Russian Roubles, which converts to 23,800 US Dollars at current rates.
This tactical operation continues the ongoing efforts by Ukrainian forces to degrade the logistical and combat capabilities of the invading Russian military within the border regions.
