(KYIV, UKRAINE) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported 67 combat engagements across the front lines as of Monday afternoon. Military officials noted that the highest levels of enemy activity are currently concentrated in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors. Concurrently, Ukrainian defence forces have achieved specific tactical successes within the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Since the start of the day, the number of attacks launched by the aggressor has reached 67. The summary provided by the General Staff and reported by UNN indicates that the occupation forces are operating with particular intensity near Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk. Systematic shelling of border regions continues to impact civilian areas. In the Sumy region, the settlements of Budky, Iskriskivshchyna, Koreniok, Kozache, Ryzhivka, Rohizne, Ulanove, Tovstodubove, and Baranivka have come under fire. Similar strikes were recorded in the Chernihiv region, specifically affecting Khrenivka and Semenivka.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Russian military conducted 44 shelling operations against Ukrainian positions and residential areas. 1 of these strikes involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems. Despite this pressure, Ukrainian forces have secured tactical gains in this sector. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, 1 attack was recorded in the vicinity of Starytsia.
The Kupyansk sector saw 6 attempts by the enemy to improve tactical positions near Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoosinove. In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled 5 attempts by the invaders to advance towards Borova, Petropavlivka, Drobysheve, and Lyman. Meanwhile, in the Sloviansk sector, the occupiers attempted 3 advances towards Platonivka, Yampil, and Riznykivka, with 1 assault operation still in progress.
In the Kramatorsk direction, 1 enemy attack occurred near Minkivka. The Kostiantynivka sector remains a primary flashpoint, with the invaders conducting 21 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. 2 engagements in this area are ongoing. In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers have attempted 18 times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from positions in Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Myrnohrad, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Udachne, Kotlyne, and Filiia. 2 attacks are currently active.
Further south, the enemy attacked 3 times in the Oleksandrivka direction towards Danylivka and Zlahoda. In the Huliaipole sector, 9 attacks were recorded near Zaliznychne, Myrny, Zelene, and Charivne, supported by air strikes on Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, Lisne, Kopani, and Charivne. 1 combat engagement is ongoing. While the Orikhiv direction remained quiet regarding offensive actions, the Prydniprovskyi direction saw air strikes on Prydniprovske, Tomyna Balka, and Lviv.
The General Staff concluded that there are no significant changes in other directions. Total Russian losses for the day before included 760 personnel and almost 2,000 unmanned aerial vehicles.
