(SLOBOZHANSKYI DIRECTION, KHARKIV REGION) – Servicemen of Ukraine’s 4th Border Detachment continue to engage Russian forces along the Pivdenno Slobozhanskyi axis, according to a statement released on 19 March 2026. Footage released by the press service of the unit shows drone operators identifying and striking multiple enemy targets.
During recent combat operations, operators of the “Strix” unmanned aerial systems unit, operating as part of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, detected and engaged several priority targets.
According to the report, Ukrainian forces destroyed three units of Russian transport, a field shelter, an unmanned aerial vehicle, two communication antennas, and one electronic warfare system. Three Russian servicemen were also reported killed.
Russian forces attempted to evade strikes through concealment, irregular movement and by opening fire on Ukrainian drones. These measures were unsuccessful, with all identified targets subsequently engaged.
Ukrainian officials stated that the destruction of transport, communication systems and electronic warfare equipment significantly reduces the Russian military’s ability to coordinate units and conduct operations in the sector.
Operators of the “Strix” unit maintain that constant surveillance, identifying and engaging targets as part of ongoing efforts to contain and degrade Russian combat capabilities in the region.
