(JUBA COUNTY, BOMA & BADINGILO NATIONAL PARKS) – African Parks in South Sudan held year end celebrations from 13 to 15 December 2025 to recognise staff efforts and strengthen teamwork across its operations in Juba, Badingilo, and Boma National Parks. The events highlighted the organisation’s focus on staff welfare, community engagement, and conservation outcomes.

In Badingilo, the celebrations began with a friendly football match, bringing teams together in a spirit of unity and cooperation. In Boma National Park, staff participated in a series of outdoor games, both team and individual, fostering camaraderie and promoting a healthy work environment.

During the events, African Parks acknowledged outstanding staff in key roles and expressed appreciation for colleagues whose contracts concluded in 2025. The recognition highlighted dedication, resilience, and service throughout the year, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to staff wellbeing.

A spokesperson for African Parks South Sudan said, “Recognising our teams’ efforts is vital. Our staff are at the heart of our conservation work, and these celebrations help build stronger, more collaborative teams.”

The celebrations also emphasised African Parks’ partnership with local communities and the broader conservation agenda in South Sudan. Staff, partners, and community stakeholders were extended warm festive greetings, reflecting the organisation’s ongoing commitment to sustainable wildlife management and conservation development in the region.

According to the conservation company, the year end activities are part of African Parks’ broader strategy to maintain motivated staff, promote organisational culture, and ensure effective conservation across South Sudan’s national parks, including Badingilo and Boma.
