(JUBA) – MTN South Sudan held a Network Appreciation Event to recognise the dedication of its network teams and strategic partners, iEngineering and ZTE, while also reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility initiatives, including campaigns against gender-based violence.
The event highlighted the crucial role of network teams in ensuring reliable connectivity across the country in 2025, reaching both urban and rural communities. MTN officials emphasised that the success of the network relies on the expertise of in-house engineers and partner organisations, which have helped maintain service quality, expand coverage, and support economic and digital development.
In addition to celebrating technical achievements, MTN South Sudan also highlighted its participation in the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence campaign, running from 25 November to 10 December 2025.
The campaign, in collaboration with UN Women, aims to end digital violence against women and girls. The company encouraged responsible online behaviour, using the hashtags #NoExcuse and #ACTtoEndViolence to raise awareness and promote safe online spaces for all users.
