( KYIV ) – Ukrainian border guard drone operators have destroyed several Russian electronic warfare and radar systems in the frontline zone on the Pivdenno Slobozhanskyi direction, according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
Operators of the RUBpAK Strix unit carried out precision strikes against Russian military equipment deployed near the front line.
According to the State Border Guard Service, the drone operators successfully struck and destroyed six Russian electronic warfare systems, two radar stations and two communication antennas belonging to Russian forces.
The strikes took place in the frontline area along the Pivdenno Slobozhanskyi axis of operations. Ukrainian officials said the destroyed equipment formed part of the Russian military’s electronic surveillance and communication infrastructure.
Electronic warfare systems are used by Russian forces to disrupt Ukrainian communications and interfere with drone operations. Radar stations and communication antennas also play a critical role in detecting aerial activity and coordinating military units.
Ukrainian authorities said the destruction of these systems weakens Russian situational awareness and reduces their ability to interfere with Ukrainian drone operations near the front.
The State Border Guard Service published footage of the operation showing the precision strikes carried out by the Strix drone unit.
The Ukrainian border guard service stated that such strikes form part of broader efforts by Ukrainian forces to degrade Russian electronic warfare capabilities and surveillance systems in the combat zone.
