(MOSCOW) – Russian state media personality Vladimir Solovyov has used his national radio platform to advocate for the distribution of nuclear weaponry to Iran and various global adversaries of the West. During a broadcast of his programme, Full Contact, the prominent Kremlin mouthpiece expressed intense frustration regarding recent military developments involving Iran and Israel. Addressing his audience, Solovyov questioned the “level of kindness” in the current global climate before turning his ire toward Russian citizens currently staying in the United Arab Emirates. He suggested that those complaining about travel disruptions in Dubai should instead relocate to front-line Ukrainian regions currently under Russian occupation, such as Donetsk or Kherson, or the border city of Belgorod.

Solovyov dismissed the plight of Russian tourists abroad, comparing their experiences unfavourably to the conditions faced by residents in Belgorod who have recently seen electricity restored. He criticised the appearance of these individuals, mocking their “shattered faces” and cosmetic surgeries, and questioned why anyone should feel empathy for them. The broadcast then shifted focus to the Middle East, where Solovyov defended the Iranian leadership against Western accusations. He described the Iranian leader as an “ascetic” religious figure without the luxury of “ballrooms” or “gold” like those found at Mar-a-Lago, the residence of Donald Trump. Despite Trump’s frequent rhetoric against the Iranian regime, Solovyov appeared to use the comparison to highlight a perceived lack of evidence regarding Iranian responsibility for the deaths of Americans and Israelis.

The discourse escalated as Solovyov and his guest, US correspondent Valentin Bogdanov, discussed the concept of “pre-emptive strikes”. Solovyov interpreted Western diplomatic and military strategies as a justification for Russia to abandon its own nuclear restraints. He argued that if NATO proxies were to theoretically use nuclear weapons provided by France against Russia, the Russian dictator should respond by transferring nuclear technology to any entity opposing Western influence. He specifically named Venezuela, Cuba, and Argentina as potential recipients, though he briefly paused to acknowledge the current political volatility in Argentina. He further proposed the formalisation of a unified military nuclear alliance consisting of Russia, Belarus, China, and North Korea to launch “pre-emptive strikes” against what he termed “rising Satanism”.

The programme concluded with a weather report from Evgeny Tishkovets, who echoed Solovyov’s extremist rhetoric, stating that “evil must be destroyed in the most radical way”. Correspondent Bogdanov, reporting from New York, contributed to the sombre tone, describing the city as being within the “empire of evil”.
