The Embassy confirmed that all services for citizens, businesspersons, students, and travellers will return to full functionality starting Thursday, 13 November 2025.

According to an official press release from the Embassy, the temporary disruption was caused by internal administrative adjustments, which have now been successfully addressed through coordination with relevant authorities.

The Embassy apologised to the South Sudanese community and all stakeholders in Kenya for any inconvenience caused. It expressed gratitude for the understanding and patience shown by citizens, clients, and the general public during the short period of disruption.

The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient consular services, safeguarding the interests of South Sudanese nationals, and enhancing cooperation between South Sudan and Kenya. Officials also stressed the importance of supporting the welfare of the diaspora, including students and business operators, while facilitating diplomatic and community engagements.
