(BRYANSK) – Ukraine carried out several Storm Shadow cruise missile strikes on the Kremniy El electronics factory in Bryansk overnight. Videos show significant damage, with multiple explosions reported across the facility.
According to open sources, the factory supplies around 90-94 per cent of its production to Russian weapons programmes, including semiconductors, circuit boards, and power modules for missiles, radars, drones, and aircraft.
Drone footage and on-site recordings indicate four missile impacts, with one possible secondary explosion. Each Storm Shadow missile, launched from Su-24 aircraft, successfully hit its intended target. The strikes penetrated the factory roof and detonated internally, leaving the facility extensively damaged.
Analysts note the strike demonstrates the effectiveness of Storm Shadow missiles over drone attacks, particularly against hardened structures such as factories. The Kremniy El facility spans approximately 150 metres and is located roughly 120 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.
Ukraine’s use of four Storm Shadow missiles highlights the factory’s strategic importance. The attack is likely to disrupt Russian military supply chains and impede the production of advanced electronics used in weapons systems.
