(ZAPORIZHZHIA, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian forces have released a compilation of drone strikes showing hits on several Russian military systems, including a BM 27 Uragan multiple launch rocket system, a Pantsir S1 short range air defence system, a Buk M1 medium range surface to air missile system and a P 18 radar.
In the first clip, a BM 27 Uragan is seen firing rockets towards Ukrainian positions before withdrawing along a road. The launcher, fitted with a protective cage over its rocket tubes, is subsequently targeted by an attack drone while moving away from its firing position. A follow up drone records the vehicle burning, indicating that the strike was effective. The system was reported destroyed in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The compilation then shows a strike on a Pantsir S1 system in Crimea. The video appears to show crew members running from the vehicle as a drone approaches. The Pantsir is used by Russian forces for short range air defence and is often deployed to protect high value sites. Ukrainian sources state that the system was hit at the western edge of an air base near Krasnohvardiiske in Crimea, where it was providing point defence. The footage suggests the system was unable to intercept the incoming drone.
A further clip shows a Buk M1 medium range surface to air missile system in the Donetsk region. Visible damage to the rear of the vehicle suggests it may have been previously struck. A follow up drone impact is recorded, followed by a detonation, indicating destruction. Ukrainian sources report that the Buk was destroyed in Donetsk.
The final segment shows a strike on a P 18 truck mounted radar near Novo Fedorivka air base in Crimea. The impact is less clear. The drone may have struck netting or nearby trees before reaching the radar. No separate observation drone recorded the outcome, and it is not confirmed whether the radar was destroyed.
According to figures cited in the video, 99 BM 27 Uragan systems and three modernised variants have been hit since the start of the full scale invasion. Russia had approximately 175 Uragan systems in active service at the outset of the war, with several hundred reportedly in storage. The Uragan is a 220 millimetre multiple launch rocket system.
For the Pantsir S1, around 130 units were assessed to be in service at the start of the war, with 41 confirmed destroyed to date. Production has continued during the conflict, and exact numbers are difficult to verify.
Regarding the Buk system, 125 losses have been recorded by open source monitoring groups, although actual figures may be higher as not all strikes are documented by observation drones. Russia was reported to have had around 310 Buk systems in service and about 100 in storage before the invasion.
Ukrainian officials say the strikes demonstrate continued pressure on Russian rocket and air defence assets in occupied territories and in Crimea. The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has prioritised air defence production and deployment, particularly around key bases in Crimea.
Ukraine says it will continue targeting systems used to strike its territory.
