(LUHANSK AND ZAPORIZHZHIA, UKRAINE) – Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces have intensified strikes against Russian military infrastructure, resulting in the destruction of 19 air defence elements between 1 and 12 March 2026. During the early hours of 12 March, Ukrainian operators successfully targeted an S-300V missile launcher and a Tor surface-to-air missile system alongside various other high-value military objectives.
Pilots from the 9th Kairos Battalion of the 414th Separate Regiment, known as the Birds of Magyar, utilised Ukrainian-manufactured “middle strike” FP-2 drones equipped with 60 to 100 kilogramme warheads. These strikes targeted a fuel and lubricant supply train in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, which subsequently caught fire. Additionally, the unit located and destroyed an S-300V launcher near the settlement of Borovenky and hit a logistics hub and an ammunition warehouse.
Simultaneously, the “Raid” unit of the 413th Separate Regiment detected and eliminated a Tor missile system near Berdianske in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region. The 1st Operational Centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces further conducted coordinated strikes across four settlements in Zaporizhzhia, hitting temporary deployment points, storage facilities, repair bases, and a workshop dedicated to uncrewed aerial vehicles.
These operations are coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Coordination Centre. In addition to frontline successes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports daily long-range strikes against military targets located within the territory of the Russian Federation.
