(JUBA) – Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, Governor of Central Equatoria State, received a detailed progress report from the State Ministry of Roads and Bridges on Thursday. The report was presented by Hon. Clement Maring Samuel, Minister of Roads and Bridges.
Governor Mujung commended the Ministry’s leadership for its efforts to improve road infrastructure across Central Equatoria. He affirmed the State Government’s full support for the Ministry’s work and encouraged staff to accelerate the implementation of key projects to ensure timely completion.
Hon. Maring explained that the report covered the Ministry’s achievements, challenges, ongoing projects, and future plans. He said such reports are essential for keeping the State leadership fully informed about infrastructure developments. The Minister also thanked Governor Mujung for his ongoing guidance and cooperation.
“The report identifies unfinished initiatives, including planned visits to communities in Greater Yei, particularly Mongo and Lasu, as well as assessments along the Juba–Kajo-Keji road,” said Hon. Maring.
Accompanied by the Ministry’s Director General and senior engineers, Minister Maring committed to working closely with State leadership to turn plans into tangible results.
“This report will form the foundation for our strategic plan and policy framework as we work to complete pending projects,” he added.
