(KYIV, UKRAINE) – Ukrainian air defence forces carried out operations to destroy hostile aerial targets during the night of 14 March 2026, according to the 96th Anti Aircraft Missile Kyiv Brigade.
The brigade reported active combat work against enemy aerial threats as Ukrainian forces continued efforts to protect the country’s airspace from attacks launched by Russian forces.
Officials said the skies above Ukraine remained under reliable protection as air defence crews engaged incoming targets.
The operation formed part of continuing defensive measures aimed at intercepting and destroying hostile aerial objects before they could strike civilian areas or critical infrastructure.
The 96th Anti Aircraft Missile Kyiv Brigade also published video footage showing successful air defence operations, including several confirmed interceptions of hostile missiles during the overnight engagement.
The brigade stated that Ukrainian defenders remain committed to maintaining control of the skies.
“Hold the sky,” the unit said in a brief statement describing the overnight operation.
Ukraine’s air defence network, which includes missile units, radar systems, F16 pilots, mobile fire units and supporting military personnel, has played a central role in countering aerial attacks launched during the war initiated by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
