(JUBA) – The South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) has officially moved its headquarters to a new location in Juba. The agency, which plays a key role in setting and monitoring standards across industries in South Sudan, will now operate from the Tongpiny South Area, in the building formerly known as the Canada Hotel.
The Bureau announced the relocation on 12 January 2026 and has requested that all private sector partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders update their records to reflect the new address.
SSNBS provides guidance and regulatory oversight for product quality, safety, and compliance across various sectors in the country, including agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer goods. The move is expected to improve the Bureau’s accessibility and engagement with businesses in Juba and beyond.
