Ukrainian drone operators from the Forpost border guard brigade continue detecting and striking Russian troops on the front line despite attempts by Russian forces to evade aerial reconnaissance.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, FPV drone operators from the brigade are actively locating and targeting Russian personnel deployed on forward positions.

Ukrainian soldiers said Russian troops have previously attempted to conceal themselves from aerial surveillance.

During winter, Russian soldiers often tried to hide from drones by covering themselves with kevlar cloaks and ponchos designed to reduce visibility from the air.

Border guard officials said the tactics used by Russian troops have recently changed.

According to Ukrainian soldiers, when Russian troops notice a drone overhead they frequently drop to the ground and attempt to remain motionless in an effort to appear dead.

Ukrainian drone operators said such methods do not prevent detection.

Border guard crews continue to locate and strike Russian personnel despite these attempts at deception.

Officials said drone operations remain an effective tool for identifying and engaging Russian troops along the front line.

The information was released by the press service of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
