(KYIV) – Ukrainian drone operators from the 1st Rapid Response Border Command of the Steel Border Brigade have continued attacks against Russian forces operating along the Kursk and Northern Slobozhanshchyna directions, according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.

In a statement released by the service’s press office, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles carried out strikes against Russian positions over the past day, targeting personnel, vehicles and logistical infrastructure used by occupying forces.

Border guard units reported that the drone teams destroyed three Russian soldiers during the latest operations. Ukrainian forces also struck five military transport vehicles used by the Russian units operating near the border.

The attacks further targeted support facilities used by the Russian forces. According to the State Border Guard Service, Ukrainian drone strikes destroyed two fuel and lubricant storage depots that were supplying Russian units in the area.

Additional equipment losses were also reported. Ukrainian operators destroyed a power generator and a charging station used by Russian troops. Six field shelters used by the occupying forces were also hit during the operations.

The Steel Border Brigade, a formation within Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, has been actively deploying drone units along key sections of the border to disrupt Russian troop movements, equipment storage and supply points.

Ukrainian officials say these operations form part of a wider effort to weaken Russian military logistics and limit the ability of Russian units to operate effectively near the frontier.
