(KURSK AXIS, RUSSIA UKRAINE BORDER REGION) – Ukrainian border guard units reported destroying Russian military positions and a surveillance complex during drone strikes on Russian forces operating on the Kursk and North Slobozhanskyi axes.

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said its units, operating as part of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, continue combat operations against Russian forces along the northern front.

According to the border guard service press office, drone operators from the Steel Border unit carried out a series of strikes targeting Russian personnel and military infrastructure.

During the operation Ukrainian drone crews eliminated five Russian soldiers.

They also destroyed an enemy shelter and a storage site containing ammunition.

Additional strikes destroyed a Russian transport vehicle as well as a communications antenna.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Murom surveillance complex used by Russian troops to monitor the battlefield and detect movement along the front line.

Officials said the successful strikes formed part of ongoing operations to weaken Russian military capabilities on the Kursk and North Slobozhanskyi directions.

The information was released by the press service of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
