(JUBA) – China Opens 2026/2027 Scholarships to South Sudanese Students
The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in South Sudan has officially opened applications for the 2026/2027 Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS). This programme invites South Sudanese high school graduates and university students to apply for fully funded opportunities to study in China.
Interested applicants should visit http://www.campuschina.org to access information and submit their online applications. The official Agency Number for South Sudan is 7371. After completing the online application, candidates must send a hard copy of the full application package (not the original documents) to the Chinese Embassy on Independence Road, Juba. The final deadline for submission is 31 January 2026.
Applicants seeking a bachelor’s degree must register for and take the CSCA (Chinese University Student Admission Test) before the application deadline. Students should contact their target Chinese institutions to confirm the required test subjects for their chosen major. For those planning to enrol in September 2026, the CSCA test dates are 21 December 2025 and 25 January 2026. A valid CSCA score report must be included with the scholarship application. All applicants are required to provide a pre-admission document from the Chinese university they intend to attend. Acceptable documents include a pre-admission notice from the international students’ admission department or an invitation letter from the relevant faculty or professor.
