(JUBA) – The Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Nairobi has launched a new initiative to register South Sudanese business owners and investors operating in Kenya. The programme, led by the Embassy’s Trade and Investment Section, aims to strengthen trade cooperation, address challenges and create opportunities for South Sudanese entrepreneurs.
The registration drive seeks to identify the sectors where South Sudanese citizens are active, understand the obstacles they face and facilitate solutions in coordination with relevant authorities.
The Embassy also intends to foster partnerships with Kenyan investors, banks, and companies, and build closer ties with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).
Participants will also be supported in taking part in trade fairs, expos and investment forums, as well as receiving guidance on company registration and compliance matters. The Embassy may organise a consultative meeting with South Sudanese entrepreneurs and investors in Kenya to discuss business issues and collaboration opportunities.
All South Sudanese businesses and investors in Kenya are invited to register by submitting the following details: company or business name, name and title of point of contact, email address, WhatsApp number, phone number and business sector or industry.
Interested parties can send their information to Jacqueline N. Chole, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Trade and Investment Section, via phone or WhatsApp at +254 721 319 860 or by email at info@southsudanembassyke.org.
The Embassy encourages all South Sudanese business owners and investors in Kenya to participate. Registration will allow the Embassy to represent their interests more effectively and support business growth, networking, and collaboration opportunities both in Kenya and internationally.
