(JUBA) – Governor Adil Briefed on Revival of EBC and CES Newspaper

Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State has received a detailed briefing on efforts to revive the Equatoria Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) Television and CES Newspaper.

The briefing, presented by the State Minister of Information and Communication, Hon. Nyarsuk Patrick, highlighted ongoing initiatives to modernize the media outlets and expand coverage of State Government activities across Central Equatoria.

Governor Adil reaffirmed his administration’s support for the revival of EBC and CES Newspaper, noting their potential to improve the flow of information to citizens and strengthen public engagement.

He commended the Minister for his leadership and called for collaborative efforts to transform EBC into a modern media hub capable of delivering timely and reliable news.

“The revival of EBC and CES Newspaper is an important step for transparency and communication in Central Equatoria State,” Governor Adil said. “We are committed to supporting these initiatives and ensuring they reach every citizen.”

Deputy Governor Hon. Paulino Lukudu Obede was also present during the briefing, underscoring the government’s high-level commitment to the media revival project.

Officials noted that both EBC Television and CES Newspaper will soon launch updated services, with expanded programming and coverage designed to inform the public about government policies, social programmes, and development projects.
