(JUBA) – MTN South Sudan held its Stakeholder Appreciation Event on 11 December 2025 at the Pyramid Continental Hotel. The event brought together partners, regulators, and industry leaders to recognise their role in advancing digital services across the country.
The event began with remarks from MTN South Sudan CEO, Mapula Bodibe, who highlighted the company’s efforts to expand connectivity and digital services. Keynote speeches were delivered by representatives from the National Communications Authority and the Bank of South Sudan, emphasising the importance of collaboration between government, regulators, and the private sector in driving the nation’s digital transformation.
Guests were shown a 2025 recap video, which highlighted MTN South Sudan’s achievements, including community initiatives, business support programmes, and the expansion of 4G+ network coverage across the country. The video also showcased projects aimed at improving internet access in towns and rural areas.
A key feature of the event was a panel discussion on “The Power of Public-Private Partnerships in Driving Digital Transformation.” The panel included senior figures from MTN, government bodies, and technology hubs, discussing how cooperation between public institutions and private companies can accelerate digital growth, improve service delivery, and foster innovation.
