(JUBA) – MTN South Sudan has introduced a new promotion rewarding early morning mobile money (MoMo) users with a 25 percent bonus on airtime calls. The offer, valid daily from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is part of MTN’s efforts to encourage digital transactions and boost customer engagement.
Subscribers can access the bonus by recharging via MoMo and dialling *200*2#. Upon successful recharge, users receive 25 percent extra airtime credit, which is valid for 24 hours and can be used for MTN calls only. The campaign is designed to provide South Sudanese mobile users with additional value while promoting the adoption of digital payment services.
The bonus amount is calculated based on the recharge value. For example, a 1,000 South Sudanese Pounds (approximately 0.22 USD) MoMo recharge would provide a 250 SSP (0.05 USD) bonus, effectively increasing the total airtime available.
