(Juba) – South Sudanese musician PG Machar is preparing to release a new song titled “Mama Mary Ayen, the Mother of the Nation,” a musical tribute dedicated to the country’s First Lady, Her Excellency Mama Mary Ayen Mayardit. The song is expected to be released within the coming days and follows closely after the artist’s recent work celebrating President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Vice President Bol Mel.
According to sources close to the artist, the new single praises the First Lady’s role in nurturing unity, women’s empowerment, and national dignity. The lyrics are said to reflect themes of maternal care, leadership, and compassion, portraying Mama Mary Ayen as a unifying figure in South Sudan’s political and social life.
This latest musical tribute comes just days after PG Machar launched another song acknowledging the leadership of the President and Vice President.
