(JUBA) – The Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) has demonstrated its support for sports development by hosting the South Sudan Football Federation’s (SSFF) fourth Extra Ordinary Elective Congress at its modern conference facility in Juba.

The venue, known for its high quality facilities, also includes a well equipped sports complex that encourages staff to remain active and healthy during their free time.

Speaking on behalf of the Bank’s leadership, David Manyuon Nak, Director General for Administration and Human Resources, said the decision to host the event reflected the Bank’s commitment to the progress of sports in South Sudan.

“This is our contribution to the progress of sports in South Sudan. We are proud to welcome you to our premises and support this important milestone,” he said.

Delegates and officials at the event praised the hospitality of the Bank and its continued backing of sports initiatives, describing it as an important motivation for the growth of athletics and games in the country.

The congress brought together senior figures in sports, including the national Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Joseph Geng Akec.

The main purpose of the gathering was to elect new leaders for the SSFF. This election is seen as a step towards uniting the sports community and advancing opportunities for young people to pursue their ambitions in football across South Sudan.
